When the opportunity arose in the summer of 2023 to travel through southern Africa for just over three weeks under Ananda's guidance, I couldn't resist this tempting offer. Looking back, it was the only right decision, and I would immediately embark on such an adventure again. Although I had only met Ananda a few times in person beforehand, we quickly became good friends through our shared adventures. I particularly appreciated how Ananda took my wishes into account and was able to fulfill them as best as possible with his many years of experience. Additionally, his extensive knowledge of the flora, fauna, and local cultures perfectly complemented the travel experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend an Africa adventure with Ananda, and I will surely remember this experience.

It was a unique adventure with a top safari guide who knew how to help in every situation. Every day held something new to look forward to. Ananda has extensive knowledge of the wildlife, the medicinal and traditional uses of plants in the African wilderness, and the history of Africa. The journey was incredibly exciting, and I learned a lot while always feeling comfortable and safe at all times. Definitely a trip one will never forget. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I decided to visit Namibia, as I had no prior experience with the country. It was a great decision to choose Ananda as my travel guide. Over twelve days, we traveled from Windhoek to Sossusvlei, from the dunes to Walvis Bay, from Sandwich Harbor to Damaraland. I experienced an incredible variety of wildlife, landscapes, sand dunes, and spectacular sunsets while simply having a great time. Ananda’s extensive knowledge of the animals and geographical features we discovered on our tours enriched the experience, as he was able to explain fascinating details. His adventurous spirit made all the spontaneous, “off the plan” moments some of my favourite parts of the trip.

My trip with Ananda from Namibia to the Okavango Delta in Botswana was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Lush nature, barely touched paths, incredible encounters with rare wildlife, and Ananda’s astonishing knowledge of flora, fauna, and the entire biological interplay there made me see the world with different eyes. Not to mention the beauty of breathtaking sunsets, wonderful encounters with the locals of Botswana, and adventurous rides through the sand and savanna.
