Climate & Weather

In December, northern Zimbabwe is in the heart of its wet season, featuring invigorating rainfall, often accompanied by dramatic afternoon thunderstorms. This time of year brings warm and humid conditions, with daytime temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C and cooler nights between 15°C and 20°C. The rains transform the landscape into a lush, vibrant green and create ideal conditions for wildlife viewing, as animals are drawn to abundant water sources. While the occasional muddy roads add an extra layer of adventure, they also enhance the sense of exploration and the thrill of discovering this beautiful, refreshed environment.
